- •The test is split into 2 sections: 15 road signs questions and 15 traffic laws questions.
- •You must pass each section separately with at least 70% (11 out of 15).
- •You have 3 attempts before you must pay the fee again and reapply.
- •The test is available in English and Spanish.
- •Read the Texas Driver Handbook (DL-7) thoroughly — all questions come from it.
- •Pay special attention to Texas-specific rules: FM roads, 85 mph limit on SH-130, and the ALR 15-day window.
